Matthew Walker
Matthew has been in the commercial photography industry for 30 years. He comes from a commercial & press background and has worked for many regional and national titles including the Kent Messenger, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph & The Times newspapers. in 2018 & 2019 he was awarded Kent Photographer of the Year in consecutive years. Matthew set up Portrait Days in 2014 and the business has grown year on year since with over 30 secondary, primary and pre-schools on the books.
Sam Yardley
After studying graphic design & photography at university Sam started working as a photographer on cruise ships and then in portrait studios, before setting up her own photography business.
She mainly works shooting weddings and with families and children on location and in the studio. Specialising on capturing family moments. She also has a full commercial portfolio with customers including Pandora, G Collins & Sons, and Cooper Burnett solicitors.

John Knight
Nick Johnson
John has been photographing professionally since 2007. Starting his career in the Wedding Industry - something he is still passionate about. John also has a successful commercial career photographing for companies such as Vodafone, O2 and Guide Dogs For The Blind and also specialises in photographing Interiors for some of Kent’s top designers. He loves photographing people and loves collaborating with the wonderful Portrait Days Team.
After finishing a photography degree Nick worked in a London studio shooting product photography for two years. Starting his own company in 1991, working mainly producing poster and production images for several West End theatres and touring shows shows as well as 15 pantos a year, Oh no he didn't, oh yes he did! Nick met Matthew when working for media organisations and has collaborated on many projects in the last 15 years. Nick started working with Portrait Days in 2015.
